Anthony F. Quinn, Sr., age 89 of East Providence, passed away on February 27, 2013 at Orchard View Manor. He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice M. (Howe) Quinn. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Mary Quinn. Before retirement, Mr. Quinn was employed by the US Postal Service. He was a WWII Army veteran, and a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. He was the father of Anthony "Buddy" F. Quinn, Jr and wife Theresa of Providence, brother of James Quinn of Warwick and Mary Lambert of OH. Loving grandfather of Amy, Jennifer and Kevin, great-grandfather of Sarah, Daniel, Rachel and Leah. He was also the brother of the late Raymond, John and Robert Quinn.His funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, in St. Patrick Church, Smith St. Providence. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
