Born in Providence, he was the son of Frank Ricamo and the late Josephine (Lazzarino) Artesani; beloved brother of Lisa M. Ricamo and Lucy E. Monti; nephew of Domenic Lazzarino and the late Anthony Lazzarino and Ida Montecalvo. He also leaves several cousins and dear friends.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Anthony, you were blessed and better for it. He was the most amazing son to his mother, amazing brother and friend. Anthony was one of the best chefs in Rhode Island. During covid-19 he gave his kitchen staff money out of his own pocket to buy food or whatever they needed. He provided his generosity in private as Jesus taught us.
There's a saying he'd give you the shirt off his back, this was true of Anthony.
Anthony loved and rescued his cats with his huge heart. He was a strong intelligent man and loyal to a fault. He was a beautiful generous gentle soul, but a bear if you messed with his sisters or friends he loved.
He had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. Anthony will be missed deeply. He’s in the arms of angels…his mother's arms. A mother and son are now reunited, although he is gone too soon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. A livestream of the Mass may be viewed at 11 AM and will end at 11:45 AM at www.saintanthonychurch.org.
