Anthony L. Ricci

Anthony Lewis Ricci, 83, of North Providence, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of hard work, love, and devotion.

Born in Providence to Angelo Ricci and Theresa (Pate) Ricci, Anthony was a lifelong resident of North Providence and took great pride in the community he called home.

Anthony shared a lifelong bond with his former wife, Charlene Ricci, who remained by his side until the very end.

He was the beloved father of Lori Ricci, Tina Ricci, Jamie (Jessica) Ricci, and Mikala Joly. He was a proud grandfather to Jessica (Lindsey), Jacqueline (Tara), Jordan, Jared, Jaleia, Thomas, Dylan, Olivia, Dante, Lucca, Francesca, Thomas Jr., and his beloved grandson, Gian, who welcomed his Papa home with open arms. He was also the loving great-grandfather of Colton, Greyson, and Isla and brother of the late Robert, Angelo, Gilbert and Nathan Ricci, Dorothy Amaral and his twin sister Anna Moran.

Anthony had a lifelong love of horses and horse racing. He spent countless hours at the racetrack and proudly owned and trained several racehorses. He was never happier than when he was at the racetrack, surrounded by the horses and the people who shared his enthusiasm for racing.

Anthony also enjoyed boxing and loved attending matches, especially with his son, Jamie, creating memories they both cherished.

A true lover of Italian food, Anthony was the proud owner of Villa Santini and Tina’s Italian Kitchen for many years. Through his restaurants, he shared his love of great food, family, and bringing people together.

In his later years, Anthony proudly served the Town of North Providence as the Deputy Director of Public Works. He took great pride in working for the town he loved alongside many close friends and his grandson, Dylan. His dedication, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others earned him the respect and friendship of so many.

Above all else, Anthony’s greatest joy was his family. He will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering loyalty, quick wit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.

His legacy lives on through the family he adored, the friendships he cherished, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Family will receive guests on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 10:15 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony Church.
