Armando Glittone

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul and Maria (Salvucci) Glittone.

Mr. Glittone was a production controller at Quonset Point for 30 years until retiring in 1973. He was also a WW II Army Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was the loving father of, Cynthia Paquette and her husband Roger, Steven Glittone and his wife Ruth and Barbara, Paul and Donna Glittone; grandfather of Michelle Woods and her husband David and Stacy and Eric Glittone; great grandfather of Sydney and Ashlyn Woods and brother of Jeanette Landwerlin and the late Etta Ciccilini, Helen and Vera DelSignore, Eva Connolly and Emma Laliberte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:30 am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
