Toppi, Arthur F. age 89, of Providence, passed away on April 2nd at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine(Antos)Toppi. Born in Providence, a son of the late Falco and Amelia(Longano)Toppi. Before his retirement, Mr. Toppi was employed by the City of Providence.He also owned and operated the former Art Crest Jewelry Co. in Providence. Mr. Toppi was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving his country from 1944- 1946.He was an active member of M.E.N.S.A Society, and also an avid fisherman. Grandfather of Richard Toppi Jr. of Greenville and Gina Anzeveno of Providence, great- grandfather of 5. He was the father of the late Richard A. Toppi, Sr. A service will be held on MONDAY at 10:15am in The Chapel of The RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter RI.
