Aura was employed in the housekeeping department for various hotels before retiring.
She was the beloved mother of Josaura Taveras and Aura Medina and grandmother of Amelia and Avelina Taveras and Helen Sanabia. She was also the sister of 11 siblings.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM in Romano Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in the Assumption Church, 791 Potters Avenue, Providence.
Graveside burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
