Avis worked at A & H Manufacturing for many years after which she was a food service worker for the Town of Johnston’s school lunch program for 12 years before retiring.
She was the loving mother of Joseph P. Carnevale, III, Joanne Delellis, Peter P., Michael G., and John K Carnevale; grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 8. She also was the sister of Ruth Vilardofski and the late George Farrow and Gladys Leonard.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
