I worked with Barbara for the last four years at Hope High School. She was an amazing woman and my favorite person at Hope. She is a rare gem of a person. She helped me countless times, and was integral in getting many of students accepted to college. Barbara was a fighter, and just an all around amazing person. I will miss her dearly. I had the pleasure of working with Barbara while I was vice principal at Flynn School nearly 10 years ago. Barbara was a wonderful secretary and person with a lively sense of humor and infectious laugh. A devoted wife...She adored her sons and grandchildren. I last spoke to Barbara this past winter...we had made plans to see each other once the weather broke. I was shocked and so sad to read the paper and learned that she had passed.
