Barbara A. (Refino) McDonough, 75, passed away November 17, 2012. She was the wife of the late John J. McDonough. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Carmella (Pisani) Refino; mother of John J. McDonough IV (CSM RI National Guard) and wife Lori, Michael K. McDonough, Lisa A. McDonough and fiancé John, and the late Patrick M. McDonough; grandmother of 9; great-grandmother of 4; and sister of the late Michael Refino. Barbara had worked for the Providence School Lunch Program for many years before retiring. Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Rhode Island, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903-1000. www.pontarellimarinofunerals.com
