Barbara H. Mooney Tillson

Barbara H. Tillson, 91, formally of Warwick, RI, died peacefully on June 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lincoln B. Tillson. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Helen Mooney. She is survived by her children Barby Pafume, Karen Hubbs, Tom Tillson and wife Diane, Cindy McKenna and husband Dennis, Helen Unzueta and Joan Tillson. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and her sister Janice Fay and husband Jim. She was predeceased in death by son Donald Tillson and a grandson, also her brothers Bill and Walter Mooney. Relatives and close friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Barbara's Life on Friday, June 10th at 1 p.m. at the Gregg's Restaurant location on Route 2, 4120 Quaker Lane, North Kingstown.

Barbara Helen Mooney was born 91 years ago,

and grew up making candy with sister Jan in tow.

She married Lincoln Tillson who came home from the war,

with 7 children later, her life was not a bore.

There are so many stories of her being quite insane,

but if we told just one of them she'd hit us with her cane.

Finally with her husband and son her days with us are done.

Goodbye to you sweet Barbara, your new life has begun.
