Beatrice Ruth "Betty" Kelly

WEST WARWICK - KELLY, Beatrice R. "Betty", 83, of East Greenwich Avenue, died peacefully Thursday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edmund F. Kelly, Sr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Sidney and Ruth (Mann) Jackson, she lived in Warwick before moving to West Warwick 20 years ago. Mrs. Kelly was a devoted wife and mother, whose great joy in life was raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Michael N. Kelly of West Warwick, Edmund F. Kelly, Jr. of North Kingstown, Brian J. Kelly of So. Attleboro, MA, Maureen J. Claflin and Jean M. Babb both of Warwick and Teresa A. Berry of Rumford; a brother Harold Jackson of Warwick; two sisters Charlotte Caplette of Warwick and Gloria Finn of Springfield, MA, and 12 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James E. Kelly and sister of the late Herbert and Kenneth Jackson. Her funeral will be Tuesday at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Ave. (Rt. 117) West Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905 in her memory will be appreciated.
