PROVIDENCE - TAFT, Bernard J., III, 47 of Osborn Street passed away Wednesday. He was the beloved husband of Nancy A. (Deniscevich) Taft. They had been married for 25 years. Born in Holyoke, MA, a son of Frances A. (Finnerty) Taft of Barrington and the late Bernard J. Taft, Jr., he was raised and educated in Barrington before he moved to Providence many years ago. Bernie had a passion for helping others; he was an Emergency Medical Technician for Universal Ambulance for the past 25 years. He was also a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He enjoyed cooking and fishing. Besides his wife and mother he leaves his children Bernard J. Taft, IV and Nicole Taft both in Providence; and his sisters Patricia A. Murphy of Newton, MA and Frances E. Taft of Barrington. His funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
