Bertha F. West (Urbanas), 87, of Victory Highway, Coventry, passed away on January 8, 2015 at the Alpine Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald F. West.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Frances (Sebastian) Urbanas.She leaves her two children, Karen B. Schiltz and Donald F. West, Jr.; and her granddaughter Christina F. Schiltz.Bertha worked at BIF Industries after graduating high school. Later, after raising her family she thrived as a proud and dedicated Food Service Director of Coffeetime, Inc.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road ( Route 117) Warwick. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Friday, 5 - 7 pm.
