Beryl Robin Franklin

Beryl Robin Franklin of Haverhill, MA passed away on April 13, 2016 after a long illness. Beryl was the eldest daughter of Mary (Weisman) and Gerald Franklin of North Dartmouth. Born in Providence, RI, she grew up in New Bedford, was a New Bedford High School graduate, and attended Bryant College and Essex Community College. She worked in the field of early childhood education for many years. In her early years, Beryl was quite the artist, studying drawing at the former Swain School of Design. Beryl also loved music, especially Celtic. In the early 1970’s, Beryl traveled throughout Scotland, introducing and uniting her immediate family to their Scottish cousins in Edinburgh. Besides her parents, Beryl leaves her daughter, Kit Alberghene of New Hampshire, her friend and ex-husband Michael Alberghene of Everett, MA, her brother Jeffrey Franklin and his family (wife Debbie, children Matthew and Rachel) of Syosset, NY and sister Seena Franklin and her family (husband Mike Burk, daughter Marni) of Tiverton RI.
