Born and raised in Providence, Brian was the son of the late Francis and Catherine (Murphy) Reddy.
A lifelong learner, Brian pursued higher education with great dedication. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Providence College in 1986, later receiving both a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Doctorate from Grand Canyon University.
Brian was a devoted and passionate supporter of Providence College basketball. His enthusiasm for the Friars led him to create and share his insights through an online blog and podcast, connecting with fellow fans throughout the community. He was also a loyal and avid fan of the New York Mets.
Above all, Brian was a devoted family man. In addition to his loving wife, Patricia, he leaves his cherished daughter, Kristen M. Reddy, who was the center of his world. He is also survived by his brothers, Sean Reddy and his wife Debbie, Kevin Reddy, and Patrick Reddy and his wife Joan; and his beloved dogs, Belle and Fiona.
Brian's love for his family, his passion for sports, and his intellectual curiosity will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 17th from 9:00-11:00 am with his service to follow at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
