Carol Ann Abbruzzese

She was the daughter of the late Theresa Serydynski Davis and the late Raymond Davis Sr., the devoted wife of the late Robert A. Abbruzzese, Sr., and a cherished mother to her four children: Robin Borys, Robert Abbruzzese, Jr., Michael Abbruzzese, and Linda Abbruzzese. Carol was also a beloved sister to Teresa Davis Doonan of Palm Coast, FL, Judy Davis Guertin of Palm Coast, FL, and Donna Larson of Rhode Island. She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Raymond Davis Jr., John “Jack” Davis, and William “Billy” Davis.

Carol lived a life rooted in love, kindness, steadfast faith, and quiet strength. She had a gentle presence that made others feel welcomed and cared for, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of family. She took great joy in watching her family grow, celebrating each new chapter with pride and gratitude. As a grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one more on the way, Carol’s legacy continues through the generations she nurtured with unwavering devotion. Her soft humor, steady support, and boundless affection will forever be treasured by all who were blessed to know her.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI 02909. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by procession to St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston for burial.
