To Carol's Family,

Earlier in our lives, Carol and I were tennis partners for a number of years at Tennis Rhode Island. How much we enjoyed those good times, which were shared by many of our friends, including Carol's sister-in-law, Sue Corrado, and Joyce Crellin (who, I see, has also shared a message here). In fact, we all so much enjoyed playing among this group that we extended our play outdoors throughout the summer months.

Carol was very much a family person. How many nice things did I hear about her husband and children through the years!

Essentially, Carol was the best! I know her passing creates a big void among her family members; and I do extend my sincerest sympathies to each of you.

Carol and I met at Walco Electric in 1962 and remained friends for 58 years. We have wonderful memories of our families getting together both at her homes and of course in Newport. Carol and Sam stopped at our home in Georgia when they were traveling to Florida and we also visited them there. Kathy, Peggy, Mary, Carol and I were "forever friends." May she rest in peace. We have another angel in heaven.

I have very fond memories of Carol when we played tennis together many years ago. Not only was she a terrific player, but a very sweet and kind person. So sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Joyce Crellin
