Carol Ann Hemingway

Carol A. Hemingway, 62, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. Jr., and Barbara M. (Curley) Hemingway.She worked as an Administrator for the Saint Aloysius Home in Greenville for many years. She also was a Social Worker at the J. Arthur Trudeau Center, in Warwick, and was involved with the Head Start program in South Kingstown for several years.Carol leaves her brother, Edward F. "Teddy" Hemingway, III, and his wife, Tedra, of Indiana; a niece and nephew, Adrianne Pontius and Alexander Hemingway; a great niece, Jaelyn Pontius; and her loyal Cairn Terrier dog, Murphy.The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, from 12:00 - 3: 00 pm.
