Carol Ann Nunes

Born in Providence, Carol was the daughter of the late Edward and Dolores (D'Amico) Dickervitz. She was the devoted companion of Ross Pariseau for 21 years. Carol was the loving mother of Courtney Nunes (Lucas Tiberio), and cherished Grammy of Dylan Jutras and Jaxson Tiberio. She was the sister of Arlene Pontarelli (Louis Ciaramello), Carlene Golato, and the late Louise Dickervitz, beloved aunt of Amanda and Joseph Pontarelli and treasured cousin of Deborah Marandola and many other cousins. Also survived by her former husband and good friend Richard Nunes.

Carol took pride in her family. Her greatest joy in life was her grandsons Dylan and Jaxson. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. They were surely spoiled by Grammy, it was no secret that Carol lived for her grandchildren. She also maintained a close relationship with Dylan’s father Paul Jutras, whom she adored.

Carol enjoyed the simple things in life like her coffee and TV shows especially game shows.

She was cherished by many, her legacy of kindness, resilience, and quiet strength will live on through her family and all who knew her forever. She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
