Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Fox) Stanzler, mother of the late Steven Silverman and sister of the late Robert Stanzler.
She is survived by: six children, Jane Schmitz of North Carolina, Marjorie Brennan and her husband Stephen of North Carolina, David Silverman and his wife Angela of North Smithfield, Jordan Silverman and his wife Michelle of Cranston, Debra Bourassa and her husband Roland of Exeter and Nancy Deschenes of North Kingstown; daughter-in-law, Diane Silverman of Seekonk; fourteen grandchildren, Rachael Andoscia and her husband Jesse, Daniel Silverman and his wife Melissa, Timothy Silverman, Ashley Silverman and her husband Kev, Taylor Brennan and his wife Lindsey, Alyssa Odegaard and her husband Joel, Haley Southworth and her husband Philip, Spencer Silverman, Zachary Bourassa and his wife Tiffany, Cameron Bourassa and his wife Amy, Matthew Silverman and Quinn Deschenes and his wife Rachel and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope Street, Providence. Burial will be private
