Smithfield -- Carol Ann Strycharz, 68, of Burlingame Road, died Wednesday at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the wife of Edward J. Strycharz. They had been married for 49 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Olga (Kosinski) Cady. Beside her husband, she leaves a son; Edward J. Strycharz, Jr., three daughters; Christine Gibeau, Doreen LaChance, Dianne McKitchen, two brothers; Wilfred Cady, Dennis Cady, five sisters; Eleanor Bowes, Rita Rainey, Vivian Rougier, Jeannette Souza, Joyce Krikorina, and five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Guadagno, Barbara Massotti, Sandra Wright, Olga Fitch, and Winifred Gardner. The funeral service will be held Friday morning at 10:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
