PROVIDENCE - SMITH, Christopher P., 40, of Manton Avenue, died Saturday at his home. Born in Providence, a son of the late Donald E. and Alice M. (McMahon) Smith, he was a lifelong city resident. Mr. Smith had worked as a laborer in various capacities for many years. He is survived by his brothers, Donald W. Smith of Akron, OH, Michael P. Smith of North Providence, and Scott F. Smith of Honolulu, HI, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00am in the Chuurch of the Blessed Sacrament, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
