Claire Ann King

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Pasqualina Capaldi.

Claire was the loving mother of Deborah Balkun and her husband Tom, Kathleen Barton and her husband Robert and Valerie Mancuso and her husband Jimmy and cherished grandmother of Frank Daniel King, Thomas “T.J.” Balkun, Jr. and his wife Brianah and Vanessa Barton and great grandmother of Talia Baldinelli and Aubrey Grace Balkun. She was also the sister of Alice Johnson and her late husband Romeo and the late Isadore Capaldi and his late wife Dorothy, and the late Nicholas Capaldi; sister-in-law of Maryann Capaldi and the late Chester King and his late wife Norma and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her love of company who she always greeted with her big beautiful smile.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
