Claudia L. Delmonaco, 76, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late William H. Delmonaco, Sr. and Lydia M. (Rossi) Delmonaco, and the cherished sister of the late William H. Delmonaco, Jr.
A graduate of Simmons College in Massachusetts, Claudia began her career in Boston, where she worked for several years. She later built a successful career as a self-employed consultant, a role she took great pride in for more than 30 years before her recent retirement.
Claudia held a special place in her heart for Italy and often spoke fondly of her travels there, sharing treasured stories and wonderful memories from the time she spent exploring the country she loved.
Claudia will be missed by her many cousins, friends and by the devoted CNAs who cared for her with kindness and compassion over the past several years. Their tireless support brought her comfort and helped her remain surrounded by care.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at St. Ann Cemetery on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Claudia will then be laid to rest alongside her parents and brother. Those wishing to attend the service should plan on arriving at the main gate of the cemetery by 12:45 p.m.
