NORTH PROVIDENCE - SHERMAN, Clinton T., 94, died Saturday at Golden Crest Nursing Centre. He was the husband of the late Ethel C. (Drew) Sherman. Born in North Providence, a son of the late Hiriam T. and Margaret T. (Lough) Sherman, he was a lifelong resident of the town. Mr. Sherman was an audio-visual technician at Rhode Island College for 18 years before he retired in 1980. He was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, and an Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by his sister Ruth A. Grimes of Providence, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward O., Eleanor, and Dorothy Sherman, Margaret Burnley, and Gladys Peek. His funeral will be Thursday at 9am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to McAuley House, 163 Niagra St., Providence RI 02907 in his memory will be appreciated.
