Cranston Clyde T. Wilson, 74, of Caporal Street, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Simoneau) Wilson. They were married for almost forty-seven years.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Clyde and Mildred (Dailey) Wilson. Before retirement, Clyde was a truck driver for many years, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 251.Besides his wife Barbara, he leaves two daughters, Patricia L. Mariani and her husband Donald, and Kerry A. Turner and her husband James; three sisters, Lorraine Doyle, Doreen DiPaolo and Gloria Arruda; and three loving grandchildren, Sara and Ashley Mariani, and Adam Turner. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Gerald Wilson.His funeral will be held on Friday, at 9:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Peter & Paul Church, 48 Highland Street, West Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Thursday 6- 8 pm.
