Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Sullo) Russo.
She was the mother of Edward V. Cogean, Jr. and Rosemarie Cotugno; mother in law of Sharlene Cogean; grandmother of Tasha Torres and her husband Luis, Alisha Cogean and the late Michael Cotugno; great grandmother of Sherry Cotugno, Luis Bunch, Stefania Cogean and Giovanni Torres and sister of Vito Russo and the late Anthony and Donato Russo, Jr. and Katherine Capobianco.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Monday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston.
