Concetta Anna Emma

Concetta A. Emma (Silvestri) 91, of Providence, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph Emma, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Marco and Filomena (Zini) Silvestri. Connie worked in the Audio/Visual Department at the Community College of Rhode Island for 10 years, before retiring. She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth E. Cusick, of Quincy, MA; a brother, John A. Silvestri; two sisters, Antonetta Silvestri and Elena Leone; and two grandchildren, Sarah and John Cusick. Connie was the mother of the late Joseph R. Emma. Her funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Interment will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 from 5-7pm.
