Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond P. and Josephine (Barone) Fallon. Cosima spent most of her life in Cranston, where she formed many lasting friendships and treasured connections throughout the years.
A 1971 graduate of Cranston High School East, Cosima had a lifelong love of music. During her high school years, she played clarinet in both the school orchestra and marching band. Her musical talents also gave her the opportunity to perform at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence with the Rhode Island Youth Symphony Orchestra, as well as with Paula’s German Band. Her appreciation for music remained an important part of her life, and she especially enjoyed following local musicians, including Mark Cutler and the Berger Boys.
Throughout her career, affectionately known as “Cos” to those who knew her, she worked in accounts receivable and as a medical insurance specialist for several local businesses, including Providence Washington, Harris Lumber, JT’s/Bristol, and Koch Eye Care.
In addition to music, Cos was an enthusiastic auto racing fan and especially enjoyed cheering on driver Mark Jenison at Seekonk Speedway. More than anything, however, Cos will be remembered for the qualities she shared so freely with those around her. Her caring nature, wonderful laughter, and unwavering loyalty made her a cherished presence in the lives of her family and many friends.
Cosima is survived by her loving partner, Charlie White of Cranston; her brother, David R. Fallon and his wife, Kathleen, of Cumberland; her nephew, James Fallon of Cumberland; her niece, Grace Fallon and her husband, Telmo Costa, of Smithfield; as well as many cousins and dear friends.
Cosima will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her services will be held at a later date.
