Dante Washington Gomes, Jr., 5, of Providence, earned his wings and went home to be with the Lord, on July 26, 2019, after a long illness.Born in Providence, Dante was the cherished son of Dante Washington Gomes and Diona Mae Brown, grandson of James Wise, Catherine Washington Wise, Jenny Brown, and great grandson of Vanessa Leighton.
Dante is also survived by his sisters, Paitian, Amena, Nova, and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, beginning at 10 am, with a homecoming service to begin at 11 am, in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
