Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Arnold) Simoneau. She had been the wife of Everett J. Downing, Jr. for 42 years.
She was the mother of Jennifer B. Bergeron, Constance M. Downing and Jessica R. Downing; grandmother of 5; sister of Linda S. Flynn, Cindy Y. Alexander and the late Frank Simoneau.
Visitation will be held Monday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by a graveside burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
