OBITUARY

David Allan Davis

August 3, 1949June 21, 2020

David Allan Davis, 70, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2020. Beloved husband of Jo-Ann (Turk) Davis for 40 years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond and Alice J. (Brideau) Davis; loving father of Ryan D. Davis, Sara E. Davis, Leah A. Davis, Jenifer H. (Davis) and her husband Casey M. Lowe, John M. Davis and David A. Davis and the late Wendy Davis; devoted grandfather of Kira and Cameron Davis, Cayden and Caleb Lowe and the late Shayna Davis; brother of Diane Hunter, Carol Hastings, Albert Davis, Sandra Raleigh, Stephen Davis, Susan Grondon, Cynthia Smith and the late Joan Davis, Raymond Davis and Gloria Ferruccio.

David was a general contractor by trade and loved to do household projects for his family and friends. He enjoyed landscaping and gardening with his wife Jo-Ann and spending time with his two grandchildren Cayden and Caleb. He loved to fish and listen to records. He enjoyed New England sports: going to Patriots games and watching the Red Sox’s on TV.

David was a brave, loyal, protective and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was everyone’s first go-to for help and always offered a helping hand. He will surely be missed by family and friends.

Funeral services and burial were private.

Dear Joanne,
We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Dave. I can’t imagine the pain you and the kids are in. He always made me feel special and loved and he was the only one to call me Barbara Ann. When I think of uncle it will be with a smile and that laugh of his. Know that you will be in my prayers. Love always, Barbara and David Delsanto
