

North Providence David P. Esposito, Esquire, of Crescent Drive, died Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved son of David V. and Dolores L. (Renzi) Esposito. Born in Providence, and raised in North Providence, David attended North Providence High School, graduated from LaSalle Academy, Bridgeport University, Rhode Island College, and earned his Law Degree from Southern New England School of Law. Early in his career, he worked as a legal assistant for former Attorney General Arlene Violet, and then went to work for the Town of North Providence under the late former Mayor Salvatore Mancini. He has worked for the Town of North Providence for the past thirty years, most recently as the Crime Prevention Officer. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America, Local 1033. David was also a musician, and was the drummer/percussionist in the local band, Brandy. He also enjoyed art, dancing, music, and was an avid reader. The funeral will be held Friday morning, at 9:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday morning, 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
