David L. Isabelle

North Providence David L. Isabelle, 68, of Woodcliffe Avenue, died Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Roger Williams Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband and best friend of Donna R. (Benson) Isabelle for the past eighteen years. He also leaves his loving daughter, Lisa A. DelColle and her companion Michael S. Allienello. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Irene (Siok) Broide and Leon Isabelle and his wife Sarah Isabelle, of Cumberland. David was a district service representative for the Providence Journal Company for twenty-nine years, retiring in 2009. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf, and was a New York Giants fan. He also enjoyed taking care of his property, doing daily crossword puzzles, playing video games on his x-box and devoting time to Greyhound dogs. David and Donna most enjoyed traveling to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire each year. David served his country proudly in the Unites States Army. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. The funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Greyhound Pets of America, 5 Smith Street, Middleboro, Massachusetts, 02346 in his memory will be appreciated.
