Deana J. (Arlia) Lisi, 91, a secretary for the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1989, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 19, 2019. She was a past president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, Bouffard Council, Knights of Columbus.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Rosalinda (Mancini) Arlia, she lived in North Providence since 1948. She was the mother of Ernest V. Lisi Jr. and his wife Valerie, Dean Anthony Lisi and his wife Prudence, and the late Alan Joseph Lisi; grandmother of Deborah Paris and her husband John, Gregory Alan, Jeffrey Ernest and Micala Rose Lisi, Deana Rose, Dino Anthony and David Philip Lisi; great-grandmother of Sofia and Dean Paris, Ryan Anthony Lisi and Sabrina Angel Lisi; sister of Anthony P. Arlia Sr. and his wife Rosemarie, and Joseph Arlia and his wife Susan; aunt of Sherry Ann Puhacz and her husband Paul, Anthony P. Arlia Jr. and his wife Theresa, Joseph, Vincent and Domenic Arlia.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
