Deborah A. Iacono

Known as Miss Debi to the children, she dedicated 42 years of her life to teaching at St. Mary’s Preschool.

She loved her family and the children of the school and enjoyed boating, traveling, taking many cruises, party planning, and spending fun times with her family and friends whom she cherished.

Debi was the loving mother of Matthew Iacono and his wife Lisa and Marissa Hughes and her husband Matthew; sister of Robert J. Zannella and his wife Maria and the late Alfred A. Zannella, Jr. and his wife Joanne; cherished grandmother of Jake and Gavin Iacono and Shea, Violet, and Malia Hughes; and the beloved companion of Dennis Fontaine for many years. She loved being the aunt of several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and was excited to welcome the newest member of the family her great-niece, Lucy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston. Graveside burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
