Deirdre J. Lavallee

Deirdre was a proud graduate of Bay View Academy. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and went on to receive her master’s degree from the University of Denver. A dedicated and accomplished chemical engineer, Deirdre worked at several companies throughout her career.

Beyond her professional life, Deirdre was an accomplished pianist who found joy in music. She loved to travel—especially with her mother—and cherished time spent with her family.

She was the beloved sister of Daniel Lavallee and his wife Melanie, Charles Lavallee and his wife Jennifer, and Ned Lavallee and his wife Lori. She was a loving and devoted aunt to Katherine, Sarah, Christopher, Lauren, Mary, Anna, and Charles.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
