Dennis J. Palmer, 63, of Zephyrhills, Florida, died Sunday at his home. Born in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of Anna May (Presley) Stow of Zephyrhills, FL and the late Donald C. Palmer.Dennis worked as a Truck Driver for many years before retiring due to a disability. He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, earning two distinguished purple heart medals for military merit. Besides his step mother, he leaves two sons, Clayton Palmer of Warwick, and Dusin Lema of New Hampshire, two brothers, Donald and Douglas Palmer, both of Zephyrhills, Florida, a sister, Diane Hayden of California, and his step father, William Stow of Zephyrhills, FL.His funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
