Diane Mary Figueroa

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Gloria (Gregoire) Skrupsky, who passed February 19, 2026, and adoptive father Ronald Skrupsky. She was also predeceased by her birth father, Raymond Regine.

A resilient leader, she loved fiercely and guided those around her. With strong convictions, she protected those she loved and relentlessly fought for what she believed in. A dedicated mother, she lived vicariously through her children, ensuring they had everything they needed and were able to follow their dreams. Whether it was gardening outside or cuddling with the animals she called family too, Diane showed everyone unconditional love.

She was the devoted mother of Diana Figueroa, Christopher Figueroa and his husband Andrew Ponton, and Heather Figueroa; loving sister of Susan Skrupsky and the late Phyllis (Skrupsky) Taylor; caring daughter-in-law to Maria Figueroa, and sister-in-law to her husband’s three brothers and their spouses and two sisters. She was also the loving aunt and God Mother to the late Steven Figueroa, and loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was the most devoted fur and bird mama to Uno and Ruffles and the late Marley Cat, and a Grand-fur-ma to her children’s many fur babies.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for both Diane and her mother, Gloria, on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10:30AM in Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
