Donald B. Johns passed away December 24, 2016. He was the husband of Barbara (Tracy) Johns; father of Michael Johns and his wife Carolyn, and Robert Johns; grandfather of Michael.
Donald retired from the Providence Fire Department, Engine 9, after 30 years.
Visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, 9-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
