ProvidenceDoris J. (Ellinwood) Quinn, "Grammy", 73, of Roosevelt Street, passed away on Wednesday at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of Robert T. Quinn, Sr. They were married for 56 years.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Estelle (Cambell) Ellinwood.Doris was a daily communicant of Saint Anthony Church, Providence, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.Besides her husband, she leaves her four sons, Robert T. Quinn, Jr., John J. Quinn, Steven P. Quinn, and Daniel S. Quinn; a daughter, Colleen Quinn, all of Providence; two brothers, William Ellinwood of Exeter; and Gilbert Conte of Washington; and a sister, June Jones of New York. She was the mother of the late William Quinn, and sister of the late Donald Ellinwood.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, at 8:45am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield Street, Providence.
