Providence Dorothea (Lynch) Curtin, 89, of Basswood Avenue, died Wednesday evening, July 9, 2014, at home. She was the beloved wife of John J. Curtin, Jr. for the past sixty-eight years. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Hubert E. and Elizabeth A. (McTague) Lynch. Prior to her marriage to John, Dorothea was a private secretary for several years. In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Susan c. Pariseau; four sons, Christopher M. Curtin, Brian J. Curtin, Kevin E. Curtin and David D. Curtin; nine loving grandchildren and five loving great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jesse Curtin, and a brother, H. Thomas Lynch. The funeral and burial was private.
