

She married the late John. T. Campanini Sr. during the Hurricane of‘38 and they enjoyed 66 years of a whirlwind marriage until his death in 2004.
She was the daughter of the late Onorato and Amelia (Capobianco) Fuscellaro; mother of twin sons John T. Campanini Jr. and wife Kathleen, and James H. Campanini and wife Mary Lee, Angela Liberatore and husband Raymond, and Pamela Nehrling and late husband Henry; grandmother of 8; great-grandmother of 11; great-great-grandmother of 3; sister of the late Frank and Esther Capobianco.
Dorothy loved her home on Metcalf Street in Providence, where she was family organizer, cook, and CEO for 70 consecutive years of celebrations and holiday feasts. She was proud of seeing her children go to college, and teaching them the values of faith, love and charity. She had many dear friends.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, 9-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, 399 Fruit Hill Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911.
