

Dorothy A. DeCorpo, Age 79, Passed away on November 9, 2025. Born in Providence, Dorothy was known for her kindness and dedication to her community. She ran bingo nights for seniors at Simmons Village, bringing joy and connection to many.
Dorothy worked as a Stringer and Racker for Re Sturdy Plating Company for many years before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, word searches, playing games on her iPad and crocheting, simple pleasures that reflected her creativity and love for learning.
She was the stepdaughter of Frances Howard, and sister of Frank DeCorpo, Dennis DeCorpo, and the late Anthony DeCorpo, Antonetta Homes, Marie Briggs, Judith Whaley, and June Riley. Dorothy was the loving mother of Leslie Taylor and Craig and Tania Brown, grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of four.
Her warmth and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.
Her visitation will be held on Monday November 17, 2025 from 10-10:30 am in Romano Funeral Home 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the Funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
