Dorothy Mary Langton

Langton, Dorothy M. (Galligan) of Oaklawn Ave, passed away on December 19th at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Raymond Langton. Born in Rumford, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Annie (McCormick) Galligan. She had lived in Cranston for 27 years. Mrs. Langton was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. She was also a member of St. Margaret Leisure Group in Rumford, and an AARP member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Cranston. She was the hostess at the University Club in Providence for 25 years. She leaves a son, John R. Langton of Cranston, two daughters, Kathy Laprade of Cranston and Patricia A. Perillo of Johnston. A sister Helen Stoddard of East Providence. Grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 5She was also the sister of the late Ruth L. Murphy and Charles H. Galligan, Jr. Her funeral will be held on SATURDAY, at 9am from the RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Providence. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
