Smithfield Dorothy I. (McWilliams) Sullivan, 74, of Scenic View Drive, died peacefully Monday at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility. She was the wife of Walter F. Sullivan for the past fifty-five years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Dorothy I. (MacLean) McWilliams. In addition to her husband Walter, she leaves two daughters, Dorothy I. Speakman and her husband Charles, Patricia A. Monahan and her husband Charles; a son, Walter F. Sullivan, III; two brothers, Daniel J. McWilliams, Jr. and Richard A. McWilliams; and two loving grandchildren, Savannah Sullivan and Bryan Almstrom. She was a sister of the late Vincent P. McWilliams, Patricia A. Carvalho and Edith M. Whitworth. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, 4 - 7 pm.
