Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Edith (O'Donnell) Brown. Edith worked in data entry for Colibri Lighters for many years before her retirement. She was also a proud member of the American Legion.
Edith was a devoted mother to George B. Church III, Martha J. Church, and Margaret Crowley and her husband, Thomas. She was the cherished grandmother of five and the proud great-grandmother of four. She also leaves many loving memories with her seven nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Edith was predeceased by her siblings, Malcolm T. Brown and his wife, Diana, Margaret Lombardi and her husband, Francis, and Miriam Hudson and her husband, William.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Morgan Health Center and Harmony Hospice, especially Marcella and Jennifer, for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Edith throughout her final days.
