East Providence Eduino F. "Eddie" Morais, 61, of East Providence, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at home. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. "Libby" (Hegarty) Morais. They were married for 28 1/2 years.Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, he was a son of the late Francisco Morais and the late Ana (Garcia) Gomes.Eddie worked in the printing industry for most of his life as a pressman. He later worked as a property maintenance manager for Marcheselli Home Builders before retiring in 2014.Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Anna E. Morais, and a brother, Arlindo G. Morais.A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 am, in the Westminster Unitarian Church, 119 Kenyon Avenue, East Greenwich, RI 02818 to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dana Farber Cancer Center, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168 in Eddie's memory would be appreciated.
