Born in Providence, Ed was the son of the late Frederick and Ethel (Tetley) Clark.
Ed was employed as a Supervisor of Highway Maintenance for the State of Rhode Island for over 35 years prior to his retirement. He served his community as a member of the Rhode Island National Guard, a volunteer with the Lymansville Fire District and a board member with the Knights of Columbus, St. Anthony Council #1618. Ed found great joy spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife of 53 years, Ed is survived by a son, Brian Clark, a daughter, Kayla Gasrow and her husband, James Gasrow, his cherished grandson, Douglas Perry Clark, and a sister, Mildred King.
A visitation will be held on Monday morning, May 23rd, from 9-10:15 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
