Eileen Patricia Hawkins

Providence: Hawkins, Eileen P. (LaCroix), 89, of Maude St., passed away on Monday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lloyd E. Hawkins and John F. O' Brien.Born in Providence, the daughter of the late. George and Irene (Cahill) LaCroix.Eileen was an office manager for Tracy Smith Inc. in Providence for 15 years and later was a claims representative for Met Life Insurance Co. for 15 years; and worked for the State of Rhode Island,Department of Elderley Affairs Companion Program for 20 years, retiring in 2004.She is survived by her children, Howard E. O'Brien of Burke, VA, Donald J. O'Brien of Pawtucket, Timothy R. O'Brien of Warwick and Eileen P. Pennacchia of Cranston, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Michael P. and John F. O'Brien and sister of the late Francis and Raymond LaCroix, Lillian Devane and Roslyn Huntsman.Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son FuneralHome, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Edward Church, Branch Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
